A resource designed to simplify singing Vespers on Sundays and Holy Days and remove the common difficulties for beginners, amateur choirs, and congregations.
All psalms are pointed and translated in parallel, with the tone written out above. No page flips are required as each psalm and canticle is re-printed for each office.
For Sundays or feasts with proper antiphons or psalms, the antiphons and properly pointed psalms are always printed together.
Mirroring the breviary structure, Volume I contains the offices of Advent through Pentecost, and Volume II contains the offices after Pentecost—each containing the Holy Days and major feasts that occur in those times.
Every universal feast that can take precedence over the Second Vespers of a Sunday is included in the appropriate volume, e.g. when the Feast of the Precious Blood is on a Monday, Vespers on Sunday will be of the feast without any commemoration of the Sunday after Pentecost.
All antiphons needed for commemorations of the season or feasts are included.
Note: As this resource is designed for singing Vespers on Sundays, First Vespers of feasts are only included when they might possibly occur (and take precedence) on a Sunday evening, or might be commemorated in Second Vespers of the Sunday.
Paperback — Volume I ($16); Volume II ($16)
